Rochelle and Cindy

April Adventure

In April 2019 I met with Cindy from the Roaming Raven RV YouTube channel. At an arranged place and time, we (along with her two puppies) set off on a drive through the country of south west Ohio.  We had a nice visit discussing the Fortuna, Texas series.

We also touched on NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month) and writing processes and inspiration.  Find out what other books I have in the works as well as more about The Fortuna Dare Society, the men’s book club series I have planned. Get the inside scoop about how The Double D Ranch started.

There are a total of three parts to this interview. Stop by the Roaming Raven RV channel and watch all them all including other author interviews. You can also watch my them and Tuesday Teasers on my Rochelle Bradley YouTube channel.

Please subscribe and ring the bell to get notifications for new author interviews or Tuesday Teasers.

Delisting a Book on Draft2Digital

How to Delist an Ebook in Five Easy Steps

I’ve been researching ebook distribution. If you opt wide then Draft2Digital will distribute your ebooks to Barnes & Noble, iBooks, and several others. D2D makes it easy to upload, edit, and track your ebooks.

When I first published, I chose wide, but I was curious about how my eBooks would do in Kindle Unlimited. After researching both, I decided to try KU and searched Draft2Digital on how to pause my book on their sight. I scanned the FAQ page and searched the blog trying to find the “how to”. Call me stubborn, but I didn’t want to contact a customer service representative. I turned to Google but found nothing concrete. So I’m making this step by step guide on how to delist an eBook from Draft2Digital. It’s simple once you know where to go.

Draft2Digital Login

Step One

Go to and log into your account.

Step Two

Click the “My Books” button.

Step Three

Find the eBook title you would like to delist. Click on it to open the book’s page.

Step Four

Under the eBook description and a sales graph there will be two buttons: edit book and delist book. Click the “Delist Book” button.

Step Five

Verify. Draft2Digital will ask if you are sure you’d like to delist. Click yes. Done! I told you it was easy.

What Happens Next?

The green delist button will turn gray, giving you the option of deleting your eBook.

If you are like me and are experimenting with KU you may not want to delete it. You can always return to Draft2Digital and republish after the 90 day KU exclusivity period runs out.

The Delist… List?

On the right side of the book page there is a list of companies you chose to distribute to. The companies will take varying lengths of time to delist the ebook.

I pushed the delist button around noon.

All the companies said “delist requested” (see OverDrive in list) and as they processed it changed to “delisted” (see 24symbols).

Within the first two hours iBooks and kobo had already delisted my eBook. By eleven that evening all but 24symbols and OverDrive had complied. The next morning only OverDrive was left processing my request. Twenty-eight hours later I still waited on OverDrive.

(Once I found the right page) Draft2Digital makes listing and delisting eBooks easy. Seven of the eight companies responded in less than twenty-four hours. That’s fast!

I hope this five-step “how to” helps aid the delisting process. Good luck.
