Virtual Event

On August 29th from 12-6 PM join me for a virtual author event. Kelli from Totally Talented Promotions has worked hard to get 20 or so authors together for the event.

Drop by a chatroom and actually see authors. Play bingo and win gift cars for Amazon and Walmart, signed books, coffee, and more. Each author will have their own chat room and each author has a gift they donated for a giveaway too. Ways to enter to win: by a paperback book from any of the authors, play and win bingo, visit each authors room…And don’t forget the grand prize drawn from all the entrees.

What is your favorite thing to do at an author event?

Meet Dawn she’s a reader, writer, artist, poet, yarnie, gnome-lover, Christian, wife, mom, and friend. This is the second time Rochelle interviews her (yes, part of the original interview was deleted). This time Sumi the Wonder-dog pays a visit.

They talk about Dawn’s writing and artistic faith-filled journey beginning young and blossoming in recent years. Dawn is member of several groups including SCBWI and NaNoWriMo. She offers sage advice in a writerly fashion. She has eight books published at this time.

Dawn lives in Ohio with her husband and has degrees and/or diplomas in Humanities, English Literature, Business Management, Travel, and Children’s Literature. She fancies herself a poet, writer, artist, reader, wife, mom, and lover of gnomes, color, yarn, books and God. She tends to see the world through rose-colored glasses and even sometimes, with a luminescent glow.

Author bio: A professional writer and editor, Beth has written everything from poetry and short stories to proposals for government contracts, science textbooks, and standardized tests (yes, you have her to thank for those!). Her real love is writing fiction, though, especially YA.

She loves to travel and has been to nine different countries (more if you count layovers!). At home or abroad, she can usually be found with her head in a book or madly scribbling down ideas for a book of her own. She loves spending time with family, stories of all kinds, and happy endings. She firmly believes in the enduring power of love.
