Plumb Twisted

Kindle Limited.

It has already received a 5 star review: “I quickly came to care for Piper, and relate to her, in her strength and no-nonsense attitude, even when it caused her to do dumb things. At first I thought she was going to hook up with Dakota, but then came Cole. Just my type of hero-a little Mr. Darcy-ish in his desire (Ha!) to stay out of a relationship. Luckily, Cole’s vulnerabilities come out better than Darcy’s and he is really personable. I fell for him quickly. As the two dance in a budding relationship, enters the evil villain. I mean evil. I’m not a hater, but I hate this dude and he brought out so many negative emotions in me. I’m not really sure this is just a “romance” as the story also contains mystery, mayhem, action, and my favorite, a strong heroine. I loved it, even though I received an ARC version.” DM Paul.

This novel was written in 2014 for NaNoWriMo.

Blurb: Much to the chagrin of foreman Josiah, Jessie Davidson wants a romance reduction. But the Double D Ranch hides a secret. Since inheriting the property, Jessie kept her grandmother’s hoard concealed, but now she’s found the courage to purge the unwanted items: steamy novels, thousands of them. #Romance has to go! Donating the books is a good thing, right? Not when coupled with a dare.
The dare spirals out of control. The ante is upped when caches of the spicy books, left in barber shops, pool halls, and pubs, challenge others to join the fad. A perverted prankster runs amok playing on the town’s fantasies. Book clubs are formed. Plots acted out. In a town saturated with romance, Jessie finds her love life underdeveloped.
Keep Jessie safe. It’s the promise Josiah Barnes made to Jessie’s dying grandmother. He aims to honor it, even if it means protecting Jessie from himself. Failing her in the past has him on high alert when the Double D becomes ground zero for the arousal avalanche sweeping the town. As a full-support, silent partner, Josiah will do anything to augment the Double D. But when Jessie starts selling handmade lingerie, keeping his hands to himself is easier said than done…
Will she shelve happily ever after like a rejected novel, or open her heart and start a new chapter? 📕

Multi-Genre Author Event May 21, 2018

I had a great time at My Favorite Muffin and the Multi-Genre Author Event. We had MM, MF, paranormal, mystery, sci-fi, western, humor, fantasy, contemporary, historical, and middle grade books. You can find all the authors’ books on Amazon.

Not only did I sell books, but I bought books too. I read all six while on vacation this summer. I will be offering reviews in my newsletter in the future. Stay tuned, you don’t want to miss out. Sign up for my newsletter HERE.

There are loads of photos and even a video of the event. Click HERE to view the slide show and look for familiar faces.

I’d like to thank the four other authors: Daniel Coldspring, CJ Baty, Aliya Dalrae and Dawn Paul for being awesome and partnering with me. Thank you to everyone who came out to support us, especially Sam who took a video of the event. It was a fun time meeting new people and seeing family and friends.

Delisting a Book on Draft2Digital

How to Delist an Ebook in Five Easy Steps

I’ve been researching ebook distribution. If you opt wide then Draft2Digital will distribute your ebooks to Barnes & Noble, iBooks, and several others. D2D makes it easy to upload, edit, and track your ebooks.

When I first published, I chose wide, but I was curious about how my eBooks would do in Kindle Unlimited. After researching both, I decided to try KU and searched Draft2Digital on how to pause my book on their sight. I scanned the FAQ page and searched the blog trying to find the “how to”. Call me stubborn, but I didn’t want to contact a customer service representative. I turned to Google but found nothing concrete. So I’m making this step by step guide on how to delist an eBook from Draft2Digital. It’s simple once you know where to go.

Draft2Digital Login

Step One

Go to and log into your account.

Step Two

Click the “My Books” button.

Step Three

Find the eBook title you would like to delist. Click on it to open the book’s page.

Step Four

Under the eBook description and a sales graph there will be two buttons: edit book and delist book. Click the “Delist Book” button.

Step Five

Verify. Draft2Digital will ask if you are sure you’d like to delist. Click yes. Done! I told you it was easy.

What Happens Next?

The green delist button will turn gray, giving you the option of deleting your eBook.

If you are like me and are experimenting with KU you may not want to delete it. You can always return to Draft2Digital and republish after the 90 day KU exclusivity period runs out.

The Delist… List?

On the right side of the book page there is a list of companies you chose to distribute to. The companies will take varying lengths of time to delist the ebook.

I pushed the delist button around noon.

All the companies said “delist requested” (see OverDrive in list) and as they processed it changed to “delisted” (see 24symbols).

Within the first two hours iBooks and kobo had already delisted my eBook. By eleven that evening all but 24symbols and OverDrive had complied. The next morning only OverDrive was left processing my request. Twenty-eight hours later I still waited on OverDrive.

(Once I found the right page) Draft2Digital makes listing and delisting eBooks easy. Seven of the eight companies responded in less than twenty-four hours. That’s fast!

I hope this five-step “how to” helps aid the delisting process. Good luck.
